Problem Note 56681: The Post-Update task for SAS® Environment Manager runs continually during an upgrade and SAS® Deployment Manager fails to end
During an upgrade, the SAS Environment Manager Post-Update task continues to run and SAS Deployment Manager fails to end. This problem occurs because when only some of the SAS Deployment Manager agents are running on all machines. All of the agents need to run on all machines.
If this problem occurs, leave the Post-Update task running and start any SAS Deployment Manager agents that are not running. After you start the agents, the Post-Update task will eventually complete successfully.
A fix for this issue is planned for a later release.
